I don't know what's the actual critery for the frontages, like.. I see a lot of different artstyle and techniques, but I noticed that almost all of them have to be fanart to be frontpaged, and for me it's kinda boring.. I prefer to see original works. It's just my opinion. I've been frontpaged once and that was pretty cool, i'm not complaning about not being frontpaged just talking about the variety of content there.

I would like to see more original works get frontpage'd too. It really helps out those kind of artists to be noticed. I like indulge myself the world and characters other artists create. It's so cool and inspiring.
To my knowledge, there's two methods of getting onto the frontpage; winning Daily Feature (currently limited to movies and games), which gets you automatically placed on there, and getting a mod or staff member to put you on there manually.
I also think more original work would be nice to see on the frontpage, but ah well.

It's just that fanart are more eager to be popular because some are looking for those. Where for "more original" content you kinda have to stumble upon it. So it's more about statistic than to willingly favor fanart.
